How to prepare programs for submission
Accreditation of initial teacher education (ITE) programs is based on an assessment of whether the program’s structure, curriculum content, assessment and professional experience components meet accreditation standards. Revised national accreditation standards and procedures came into effect from 2016.
Develop your ITE program
The design and development of initial teacher education programs requires a considerable amount of work and time. You are expected to have an initial discussion with the BOSTES ITE team about the proposed introduction of a new or amended program. You should keep in contact with the BOSTES ITE team throughout the development of the program. This will help you ensure your program submission includes all details necessary to meet accreditation requirements.
