What is a certified photocopy?

A certified photocopy is a copy of the original document that has been certified as a true copy of the original by a Justice of the Peace, a person admitted to a publicly available legal roll or a principal of a NSW government or non-government school.

What if the documents are in another language?

If any of your qualifications are in a language other than English you will need to provide certified copies of both the original documents, as well as certified copies of their translation. The translation must be done by an accredited translator. In Australia the documents must be translated by a person accredited with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). More about translating documents
