Online information sessions for teachers

This year BOSTES will host a number of online information sessions.

Accreditation at Proficient Teacher

This one-hour session will focus on developing an understanding of the requirements for Proficient Teacher and provide advice for teachers employed on a casual or short-term temporary basis.

The session covers five modules:

  • Module 1 - BOSTES and Accreditation at Proficient Teacher
  • Module 2 - The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Module 3 - Roles and Responsibilities
  • Module 4 - Collecting and Annotating Evidence
  • Module 5 - Advice for casual and short-term teachers

Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher candidates

The one-hour session will provide information on the requirements for accreditation, the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, the three sources of evidence and how the accreditation decision is made.

Sessions start promptly at 4:00 PM. The next session will be held on Tuesday 21 July 2015. For information visit the events page

Both sessions are Adobe Connect webinars. Participants will need access to a Personal Computer (PC) or Laptop with common usage software, speakers or headphones, and quality broadband internet access. Additional information will be sent to registered attendees.
