Online information sessions for teachers update

Online information sessions about accreditation for casuals and applying for Highly Accomplished/Lead Teacher Accreditation are coming up.

Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher candidates

4pm Wednesday 22 July 2015

The one-hour session will provide information on the requirements for accreditation, the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, the three sources of evidence and how the accreditation decision is made.

Accreditation at Proficient Teacher for casual teachers

Thursday 23 July 2015

This one-hour session is only for casual and short-term temporary teachers and will focus on developing an understanding of the requirements for Proficient Teacher and provide advice for teachers employed on a casual or short-term temporary basis.

The session covers five modules:
•    Module 1 - BOSTES and Accreditation at Proficient Teacher
•    Module 2 - The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
•    Module 3 - Roles and Responsibilities
•    Module 4 - Collecting and Annotating Evidence
•    Module 5 - Advice for casual and short-term teachers

Both sessions are Adobe Connect webinars. Participants will need access to a Personal Computer (PC) or Laptop with common usage software, speakers or headphones, and quality broadband internet access. Additional information will be sent to registered attendees.
